Our camps will run from the week of June 17th to the week of August 17th.  We are excited to announce that 3 years olds are invited to come to the preschool camp this summer.  This year we are offering preschool and half day camps from 9:00am to 12:00pm for $140 per week and full day camps from 9:00am to 3:30pm for $192 per week.

Are you ready for the February Tiny Tumbler Time classes?  Registration will open February 12th at 10:00 am.  This is a great class for ages 12 month to 24 months! (restrictions apply)
*There will be a nominal charge of $10 per session but you will receive a credit voucher in the amount of $10 when you attend the class.

What other activities does NRG offer?

Here at NRG, we have some great programs that you may not have not realized are offered. 

*  We have Home School Gymnastics Classes during the day that are a fun and affordable way to keep kids active.
*  We run a Parent's Night out, usually on the third Friday of every month, where kids get a fun filled evening of pizza, games, gymnastics and the Parents get an evening off. Parent's Night Out is open to both members and non-members.
*  We also do great Birthday Parties! Parties run on Saturdays during the Spring and Fall sessions and on Fridays during the Summer. Remember to book ahead, they fill up fast.
*  Last, but not least, don't forget about our Summer Camps. We have half-day, full-day programs, and this year, more preschool camp weeks.

NRG Boy's Team

The NRG Boy's Team had a very busy month of January by attending three gymnastics meet in which they did a very good job.  Here are some of the great results of the compulsory boys team members.  During the Traditional Gymnastics meet held in Goldsboro, NC, the compulsory boys did a great job and here are some of the results of their hard work leading up to the meet. 

  • Matt Shelden -Level 5 (7-9 age group): 1st place on floor, pommel horse, still rings, parallel bars, high bar and All-Around
  • Owen Nemitz - Level 5 (10-11 age group): 1st place on floor, pommel horse, all around / 2nd place on still rings/ 3rd place on parallel bars and high bar
  • Mitchell Andrews - Level 5 (12+ age group): 2nd place on still rings, vault, parallel bars/ 3rd place on floor and all-around
  • Bailey Schultz - Level 5 (12+ age group): 2nd place on pommel horse 
  • Jared Bocanegra - Level 5 Rookie (7-9 age group): 1st place on vault/ 2nd place on pommel horse
    • The Level 5 team took 3rd place in the team competition. 
  • Eric Stieber - Level 4 (7 year old age group): 2nd place in the all-around
  • Drew Dispennette - Level 4 (12+ age group): 1st place in the all-around
    • The Level 4 Team took 2nd place in the team competition

The Optional Boy's Team just returned from competition against some of the best gymnast in Region 8 at the 9th Annual Roswell City Classic in Roswell, GA.  Here are some of the great results from the boy's team members that attended the meet:

  • Anthony Galante - Level 8 (12-13 age group): 1st place on floor, pommel horse, vault and all-around/ 3rd place on still rings and parallel bars
  • Kyle Jervah - Level 8 (14-15 age group): 2nd place on parallel bars/ 3rd place on vault and high bar

The NRG Boy's team continues to train hard for the last meet the weekend of February 7-8, 2009 in Hickory, NC before they compete at the North Carolina State Championship that will be held at North Raleigh Gymnastics the weekend of March 7-8, 2009.  For more information about the boys team, please feel free to contact Benji Stern, Head Boy's Team Coach.
