We hope that you have had a great year so far. It is pretty amazing to look out in the gym and see such progress and learning going on. We love watching the children show excitement for gymnastics and sports in general.
While we love to see your children here every week, please do not bring them to class if they are not feeling well or if things just do not seem right with them that week. (This includes things as common as the cold or flu and things like poison ivy or head lice.) We have a great make up policy, with many different opportunities for make ups. Just a quick reminder that you can also receive vouchers to other programs as well. One absence can be traded in for a Clean-Up Clinic. This month we are offering two clinics. The first is a floor clinic focusing on Cartwheels and Round offs on October 23rd from 5:00-5:55. The second is a back handsprings clinic also on October 23rd from 6:00-6:55. If you have missed two or more absences, you are more than welcomed to trade in two missed classes for a voucher to attend a Parent's Night Out. Our next PNO will be on October 16th from 6:30-10:00 P.M.
As some of you have noticed, we have taken down the For Sale sign. We have decided after much debate and discussions that we will not be moving forward on our new facility. There have continuously been one road block on top of another that is standing in the way of the project. We feel that it is in the best interest for all that we continue to strive and grow in our existing building. We have been very happy about how well our martial arts classes are growing and will continue to come up with different avenues to better serve our customers. We would like to thank all of our wonderful customers for the continuous support and understanding.

Our martial arts program is getting off to a great start! I would first off like to congratulate all the students and their accomplishments at testing and passing their first Promotion of many as a Martial Artist. It was a great showing by the family and showed true support of their children!
Secondly, I would like to announce our newest addition to NRMA. His name is Instructor Geoff, and he comes from a very similar background as I do, in a style of Martial Arts called Jui Jitsui. I believe his knowledge, and personality will fit in great with the kids. He may look intimidating, but he is a big "Teddy Bear". So please welcome Instructor Geoff as our new addition to our program as we continue to grow and expand.
Lastly, if your child is sick, please do not bring them to class. Which leads me into "Open Mat Friday's". This is a great time for make up classes as well as a time to touch up on techniques that are rusty or need a little more attention on. Thank you, and as always, my door is open to all! Instructor Ryan
